DPS Aligarh: An Institution with a MISSION and a VISION
An edifice infused with variegated nostalgia and myth, from time immemorial a dreamlike inspiration, such familiar terms may be associated with the name of a dear place, our Almamater, DPS Aligarh. It was a promising summer dawn of 1998, when it found its form as an institution with the combined efforts of the Delhi Public School Society and Sh. K.K. Jain Educational Trust, Aligarh, Perhaps it was the stimulus of renaissances and Sh. Pawan Jain’s fervent zeal to make the light of education to shine upon his lonely suburb that led to the foundation of DPS Aligarh.
Since its establishment, DPS Aligarh has been constantly progressing to achieve the desired excellence in implementation of teaching and learning practices.
DPS SENIOR WING:
D.P.S. Junior Wing, Agra Road consists of classes play group-5, this four storey panoramic building has a unique architectural design, well furnished classrooms, different modern teaching methods and play materials. The building is surrounded with Lush-green grounds.
Introducing our new branch Junior wing Civil Lines:
The main task of DPS Aligarh is to strengthen the base of the pyramid which consists of the populace of Aligarh. Equally and essentially it is important to ensure that those at the top of the pyramid are the existing students of DPS who are the best among the world. Our cultural and educational well-springs have taken good care of both ends in the past. It should now be possible through the means of DPS Civil Lines to further intensify diligent effort in producing multifaceted global students.
It is our mission to ensure that in a safe, tranquil, stimulating and intellectually challenging environment, all students shall have complete opportunities.
Maintain openness and respect in the face of racial, cultural, religious and linguistic differences
Attain skills and attitudes which fit them for life in the rapidly changing world of the new millennium
Develop a confident understanding of what they and other individuals can and do for themselves, for the environment and international society.
Acquire habits of curiosity, reflection, mental flexibility, independence and self control
Fulfil their academic, cultural sporting, and social potential including the achievement of optimum academic results.

D.P.S. Senior Wing, Agra Road consists of classes 6-12, equipped with all the modern amenities and has all important educational streams at +2 level that is Science, Commerce and Humanities. The school curriculum emphasizes equal stress on academics, art and craft, music and dance. To enhance the international standards 400 meters 8 lane tracks has been constructed along with basket ball court, lawn tennis court etc.
