For the first time, our school organized a three day tour for hostel students which started on October 1, 2019. We reached Nainital the next morning. We visited many amazing places like Naini lake and Snow View Point. We also did trekking for about 5 Km. Then we left for Marketing and students were amused to see Naina Devi Temple and The Tibetan Market. We stayed at Royal Heritage hotel in Nainital that night.
Then on next day, we left the hotel and began our journey to Bhimtal, which was really a fascinating place. On the way, we saw the wonderful lake, Garudtal. Then we visited Bhim lake in Bhimtal. There we stayed in Sea Hawk Resort. At night we Celebrated Birthday of a child after which students enjoyed the DJ night. After DJ, students were glad toenjoy around the bonfire. There we played Antakshiri.Everything met our expectations: the visits, the hotels, the food, the co-operation that we got from every staff member, guide, and the students as well. They maintained the dignity and decorum of our institution.
Travelling is a part of education. An excursion is not just a pleasure trip; it enhances the knowledge of the students beyond the four walls of the classroom.
To provide such an enriching experiencing to students DPS Aligarh organized a pleasure trip to Ooty, Mysore and Bangalore from 29th May to 6th June 2019. During this memorable trip 23 girls and 34 boys assisted by 5 teachers got a golden opportunity to know more about the rich cultural heritage of India
Having six gear speed of joy and spark of excitement the first destination of the trip was the beautiful city of Banglore. A visit to the Science Musium, Lal bagh Garden, and the Tipu Sulatn palace ignited their love for history. The students enjoyed shopping on G.B Road in the evening. Sightseeing of Blue Bull temple on the way to Mysore really captivated the attention of the children. And this paved the way to repository of their memories. The students developed love for nature and got a chance to visit the Vrindavan Garden where they got fascinated by the glorious presentation of musical fountain show. The next morning the students along with the escorting teachers visited the Mysore Palace and also viewed the splendid and magnificent artifacts as well as the graceful life of the royals. They had a taste of great Indian history with panoramic view.
The following day all the students with their teachers boarded the bus proceeding to Ooty. The scenic beauty, the birds and greenery all around enthralled the students. The next morning the students got a chance to visit the tea factory and chocolate factory which unfolded many scientific facts and enriched everyone.
Having taken lunch all the students proceeded to the botanical Garden. Beauty and serenity prevailed here really overwhelmed all the students. After reaching the lodging venue all the students had fun with DJ night. Overall the excursion was really very enticing and informative.

Our responsibilities towards the students started the moment.There were 11 girls,32 boys and 4 teachers .We fetched the buses at D.P.S. Jr. wing Aligarh .Having sixth gear speed of joy and spark of excitement we headed towards our goal.
We successfully catched the train on time.We reached on 30th May evening.Reached hotel,sent students to get fresh.
The culmination of the tour was visit to temple Ganeshtok followed by plant conservatory and visited beautiful site scene and Rumtek Monastery,fall and get back to the hotel.Children had lunch and relax in the afternoon. In the evening children were left for shopping at the Mall Road The students enjoyed the DJ Night followed by dinner. Next morning we went to Tsomgo lake .It was very beautiful site and children took photos and enjoyed ride on Yak. After that we lead to Harbhajan Baba temple . We reached Gangtok in noon. After freshening up we left for a Darjeeling and checked into hotel .Next day in early morning we visited tiger hill sunrise point and had the beautiful view of sunrise and then visited the Ghoom monastery. After breakfast we went to visit green valley tea gardens, Mountaineering Institute, Golf Course, Tensing Rock, The Zoo etc which unfolded many facts and enriched the students. Dinner & overnight stayed at the hotel.Next day After breakfast board the coach for New Jalpaiguri station to board DBRT RAJDHANI EXP (12423) scheduled at 13:15 hrs. Overnight Journey in the train.
On the other hand, the food and lodging arrangement done during this span of time was really appreciable.
On the top it is to conclude the students enjoyed each and every second.

DPS Aligarh organized a three day educational trip to Nainital in May 2019 for students of classes VI to VIII. 52 children along with five teachers went on this mesmerizing trip on 18 May. The children commenced their journey in comfortable fully air conditioned buses on 20 May, 2019. The three days trip included a delightful stay at the exotic Hotel Woodlands.
On the first day after taking rest and having refreshments in Hotel, visit to Naini Lake and visit to the popular Naina Devi temple was organized.
On the second day after having delicious breakfast in the Hotel, thevisit to the Nainital Zoo and the most exiting trek took by the students to the summit from where the Himalayas could be clearly seen.
On the final day after having breakfast, the children enjoyed shopping at the Tibetan Market and Mall road and had a fun in Gaming Zone session. In the pleasant evening a DJ was organized at the Hotel Woodlands Terrace. Children overjoyed a lot and carried home tones of wonderful memories.
