Annual Inter DPS Indian Vocal Music Festival 2011 was held in DPS Aligarh on April 21, 2011. The Programme began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by Saraswati Vandana. There were total six teams- DPS Hapur, DPS Haridwar, DPS Mathura Refinery, DPS Meerut, DPS Moradabad & DPS Aligarh.
There were two categories-
(a) Solo performance
(b) Group performance
Criteria of judging was based on – Sur, Laya (Melody/Voice Quality) Tal (Rhythm) selection of the song and total impact.
Judges selected for the purpose were eminent and music maestro of Aligarh.

- Mr. Suresh Chandra Sharma Ex H.O.D. of Music Department, D.S. Inter College Aligarh
- Dr. Devashish Ganguli HOD Music, Mangalayatan Univ.
The Guest of Honour was Mrs. Neeta Duggal, a reputed industrialist. of Aligarh and grand mother of one of our students.
In Solo performance Third, Second and First position was bagged respectively by DPS Moradabad, DPS Hapur and DPS Aligarh.
In Group performance Third, Second, and First position was bagged respectively by DPS Ranipur Haridwar, DPS Hapur and DPS Aligarh.The winning team was DPS Aligarh.
The first runner up team was DPS Hapur.
