Delhi Public School Aligarh believes in all round development of the child, for academic growth, our children participated in National Level Science Talent Search Examination – 2012 (NSTSE – 2012) on 4th December, 2011 by Unified Council. Our children not only gave meritorious performance but also bagged Gold medals in it.
We are proud of our children those who have achieved the Gold Medal. Their names are mentioned below:

Harshit Chauhan of 5B with 114 rank in U.P. and 1334 AIR.
Fatima Hisam of 6D with 254 rank in U.P. and 1837 AIR.
Sonal Chaudhary of 3D with 550 rank in U.P. and 4554 AIR.

Scholar Badge Ceremony(10th Feb 2012)

DPS Aligarh awards Scholar Badge and Proficiency Certificates to the students who excel in scholastic as well as co-scholastic activities. Students are encouraged to work hard and excel in all fields.
Proficiency Certificates are awarded to students of Nursery and Prep for scholastic and co-scholastic excellence. Scholar Badges are awarded to the students of classes I to VI for the same. In order to fulfill the criteria for Scholar Badge a student has to achieve minimum A2 grade in all main subjects and minimum A grade in co-scholastic areas. A minimum of 90% attendance is required for the consideration of Scholar Badge.
Scholar Badge Ceremony is held every year to felicitate the students. This year it was held on February 10, 2012. A scintillating ceremony was for the achievers with a variety of programmes. The glittering ceremony started with the lighting of lamps and floral welcome of our vice principal Mr Chandrashekhar Sharma.Scholar Badge and Proficiency certificates were awarded to the students. Certificates were also awarded to the 100% attendance holders. To add spice to the programme an elegant fairy dance and a colourful folk dance was presented by our children. The DPS anthem was sung by the students to add rhythm to the ceremony. Altogether it was a glowing ceremony for acknowledging the achievements of our students. Principal madam Dr. (Mrs.) Shubha Narayan had congratulated and blessed the scholars.

PCH (Class Nursery to Prep) and SBH (Class I to VI) ceremony is to be held on 9th Feb 2012.

Proficiency Certificate Holder (PCH)

To enhanced the moral of the students in their academic performance, PCH is given to the students securing A grade in all the three terms in all the subjects. This ceremony was conducted on 11th March and 12th March 2011 in Junior Wing Agra Road for the classes Prep, I and III of the session 2009-2010

Graduation Ceremony

Every year we hold the Graduation Ceremony to celebrate the change in the status of our status of our young students going from the Pre-school education to the school education.

Through this ceremony we hope to encourage our young students to realize the significance of education in their lives. Education is for us, not just about reading books and acquiring education but is about the overall development of personality, inculcating in our young students confidence, positive attitude and the ability to face the real world in their adult lives.
