Another significant event of the session 2011-12 of D.P.S. Aligarh Junior Wing Agra Road was the Investiture Ceremony held on 25th August 2011 in the school premises. The schedule of the ceremony began with floral presentation to our worthy Principal madam Dr. (Mrs.) Shubha Narayan ji who graced the occasion and administered the oath to all members of Student’s Council. The programme started with a Welcome note which was delivered by our seniormistress. An inspiring Welcome song on imbibing leadership qualities was presented by students followed by a dance filled up with courage and bravery i.e. Kalari Payatu (Martial arts dance form of Kerala). All the excited members of the student’s council were honoured with the badges and sash. They took a pledge for loyalty and sincerity and vowed to work for excellence of standard in their respective areas of the school. Thereafter our Principal Madam addressed the students motivating the children to work hard with sincerity.
