1)       Course In Spoken English Attended by Ms. Ankur Pathak and Ms. Uma Ghosh
A workshop on developing a training course in spoken English for Teachers of Delhi Public Schools in Aligarh was conducted by the UGC Major Research Project,  Department of English, AMU Aligarh on 22nd January 2011 at Al-Barkaat Educational Society, Aligarh.
The main resource person was Dr. M. Amirullah Khan who stressed that the primary aim of teaching English was to make children help speak the language. He emphasized the need of developing listening skills among students through sound tracks. He instructed teachers to teach the proper pronunciation of words through games like ping pong and tongue twisters. To improve speaking skills among students a mention was made of jazz chants
- a method of learning to sing in rhythm and chorus. Last but not the least, he gave a demonstration of how to involve a whole class in different tasks or activities called ‘stations’ wherein students can learn different skills within a stipulated time.

2)       English (Class level III to V language learning workshop was held at DPSS-HRD Center Dwarka, Delhi ) from 29th November to 1st December 2010.
It has been an interesting and productive one where concept and content have
attempted to highlight the processes of language learning at Early School Education.
The workshop detailed the role of the English curriculum pedagogy. It instructed teachers ways to develop different skills of English in children. It stressed the need to include multi-intelligence skills while making a lesson plan. The role of assessment and evolution was highlighted in depth. Resource persons included eminent personalities like Prof. H.S. Srivastava, Prof. Usha Datta, Prof. Rana Mathews, Ms. Shefali Ray, Dr. Minati Panda etc.

3)         CCE Workshop attended by Ms. Shalini Jain in DPS Agra
The workshop was based on CCE for upper primary school conducted at Agra to up the apprehensions about CCE. The main resource persons were :-

4)         Course in Early Childhood Education By Ms. Deepa Dixit in HRD Center
A workshop on certificate course in Early Childhood Education (ECE) was held at Delhi Public School, Dwarika HRD Section Delhi from December 9 to 21, 2010. This  course aimed at preparing teachers working in Delhi Public Schools enhance their awareness of the development and learning process of young children. The resource persons were the guest faculty from Lady College, University of Delhi, NCERT, NCTE, IGNOU etc.
