In brief:

The speaker greeted the members. She started by saying: it is indeed a matter of great pleasure for me to be amidst you at the mock parliament session being conducted at Delhi Public School, Civil Lines, Aligarh by students of Class VI A & B.
Today’s topic of debate is ‘Corruption’.  Members who want to put forth their views are welcome and will kindly stand up and present their views.
Let’s begin the session.
The session took off very well and all the students present gave their best performance. Some were in favour of corruption while most were against.  The debate had all the ingredients right from Anna Hazare’s Lokpal Bill to 2G Scam.  Very well enacted.  Initially the debate went off like reading from a script but as time passed, the students took it to their full zest and started interrupting one another during their speech and the speaker was trying best to maintain the decorum and at last when the members were beyond control, the speaker brought the session to an end and yes it looked like a parliament session in real.
Spectator’s gallery
Today's lok sabha proceedings have shown the arrogance of MPs when they perceive that they are the "rulers" & not the servant for the people...they need to be shown the door in next election...long live anna....go ahead.. people are with you...
Conclusion:

Need more of such sessions so that students get hands on practical experience and express their views.

Along with the curriculum, we at DPS Civil Lines give our students exposure to all types of co-curricular activities among which art holds a strong place. It is seen that the students from their early ages take great pleasure in drawing and decorating in their own fascinating ways and when it is done under the proper and trained guidance they are exposed to various forms and ways of art.  Our  pupil sometimes bring out beautiful imaginations. Kashish of class III C is one among these names-who when holds anything in his hands trim, mould and present it in an amazing way which is really a pleasure to watch.

One such great art work along with great imagination was shown by Prakhar Agarwal of class IV C in his craft class when he brought together all the waste material and prepared a beautiful duck shaped wall hanging which seemed like the one sailing in water.

Even the inter class competition of designing the cover page for school magazine brought into light many new and creative ideas by our talented little artists where Siddhant Sharma of class IV B with a proper logo of the school presented a globe surrounded by numbers, alphabet and formulaes which was considered the best among all good ones made by our Dipsites.

“ What I am is God’s gift to me
What I become is my gift to God”

With this spirit of exploring creativity, Kashish Chandra of Class (III-C) DPS Civil Lines created an innovation using a shuttle cock, transforming into a Santa Claus. He is a skilled, enthusiastic imaginative child, responding to different abilities and interests employing various methodologies. During Nature walk his imagination work and he transform a simple leaf into a marvelous creation and made all his class mates amazed in his science period.

Opportunities are waiting a whole new world to explode for him both morally and intellectually and let him grow and succeed into a more refined child interspersed with academics.

DPS will continue to empower and enthrall our students as they themselves towards the challenges of outside world.

In order to give them better opportunities and enhancing their inner qualities of creativity DPS Aligarh found Kashish Chandra of class III-C who made an idol of “Lord Ganapati” by using plasticine. Another remarkable portrait prepared with little artistic hands of Syed Hasan Abidi of class III-B. He has made a beautiful portrait of “Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru” on the occasion of “Children’s Day”.
