Profile of Dr. Amit Gaur at a Glance

The Author had completed his Ph.D. in History from Centre for Advanced Study, Department of History, A.M.U. Aligarh on the topic, “Contributions of Lala Hardayal as an Intellectual and Revolutionary”. Having taught at various institutions like Jamia Millia Islamia, D.S. College Aligarh, and also Academic Advisor and Motivator in Coaching and Guidance Cell, AMU Aligarh; Institute of Law and Research, Faridabad. Worked as Academic Director at P.T Education Aligarh. Presently working as Deputy H.O.D. (History) at D.P.S. Aligarh.

   He has completed a book on APJ Abdul Kalam and Dr. Lala Har Dayal (both are biographies). Other areas on which he is working Religion, Indian History, Biography, World History and Encyclopedia. His multifaceted personality makes him interesting in book reading and watching movies, traveling and adventure sports, interest in Para-psychology and Metaphysics, Motivating the youth for spreading Rationalism, Humanism and Post-Modernism.

   Like Jalaluddin Rumi Author believes that he is neither Hindu Nor Christian, Jew or Muslim, Buddhist, Sufi or Zen. Not any religion, or cultural system. He is not from the East or the West, nor out of the ocean or up from the ground, not natural or ethereal, not composed of elements at all. He do not exist, not an entity in this world or the next, did not descend from Adam and Eve or any origin story. His place is placeless, a trace of the traceless. Neither body nor soul. He belong to the beloved who have seen the two worlds as one. First, last, outer, inner, only that breath breathing human being.

World is a paradox place. If Hollywood is making “2012” and “Avatar” than Bollywood “3 Idiots”. The world is not coming to an end as predicted or showed in the movie 2012. Many new goals had to be achieved and new horizons had to be touched “All Is Well” except our education system which need to be revised and redefined. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam expressed his views at the third IGNITE Awards ceremony at IIM-A, “The entire education system should be changed so that every young person can say “I can do it” particularly primary education has to be changed”. In this Global era where cosmopolitan way of thinking is the need. For this Multidisciplinary Approach is need of an hour. Author book’s which is encyclopedic in nature covers “Something Of Everything” is edited with the same spirit. Author’s believes or agree with Chinese Proverb  “Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere” or said by Benjamin Franklin “The best investment is in knowledge which pays the best interest”. Lets sum up this message in the word’s of Ayn Rand, “The question isn’t who is going to let me, its who is going to stop me”.
