On 29th Oct’ 2011, DPS-Aligarh hosted its first Alumni Meet at  Senior Wing from 12:30 pm to 8:00 pm. 314 alumni turned up to attend this spectacular
Alumni Meet.
     The programme started at 12:30 pm by welcoming of the alumni followed by lighting of the lamp by Honourable PVC Sir, his betterhalf Priya Mam, Principal Madam, Vice Principal Sir, Convenor, Head Boy, Head Girl, Ayushi Rathi, Hammad,Yash Jain and Deepam (alumni) Who entered first into the premises.
     Cultural programme started by Saraswati Vandana, a dance form which was appreciated by all,followed by a beautiful Welcome song
by school choir. Next a Welcome speech was delivered by Nandita Jain, Proctor DPS Aligarh. After that there was a marvellous presentation of Chick Dance by the students of Junior Wing Agra Road and Bhangra Dance by the students of Junior Wing Civil Lines.
     To enhance some more points related to ex-students’life, a healthy, lively session called Interactive Session was conducted, followed by a Skit Nostalgia-Glimpse of their Past. After that there was a Tea-Break from 3:30 to 4:30 pm.
     After Tea –Break, there was commemoration of the event ‘Selection of Outstanding Alumni’ in which Saudharm Jain and Naina Chawla were crowned as Outstanding Alumni-Boy and Girl respectively. Then to add rhyme and rhythm to the wind school Orchestra presented some most cherished numbers which was followed by Momentoes distribution to each alumni. Then Vote of Thanks was given by Palash Gupta, The Proctor Students’Council, followed by National Anthem tune.
     Lastly there was Open Floor Dance which was followed by delicious and yummy delicacies.
     The major highlight of the meet was the presentation of cash amount worth Rs.50000/- to Shimona Agarwal-District Topper of class-XII-2011 by PVC Sir.
     Last but not the least, the Meet went successful, reminding the sweet memories of past in the hearts of both students and teachers.
