| ‘Incredible India’ (May 16, 2011 to May 28, 2011) |
DPS Aligarh organized summer camp for the students. 373 students participated in the summer camp.This summer camp was conducted for the students of classes VII to XI std. The aim was to develop multifaced personality of our students and to boost their confidence-
Through summer camp we provided a platform to learn and became master in different
Skills with the help of our team of specialists. Our motto was –Learn-Play and Do.
Various skills were taught in this camp. All the activities were divided into two multiple categories and students had to choose one from each category. These were- Group A – Indoor activities
Dance, Music (Instrumental and Vocal) ,Art and craft, Dramatics
Group B -- Outdoor activies
Horse riding , Tennis ,Marshal art , Basketball, Football,Cricket,Badminton, T.T. Yoga and Personality Development were compulsory for all.
Daily activities were divided into two session i.e Before Break and After Break.
Camp was a success. Students learnt various skills which were displayed by them during closing ceremony. Closing ceremony was held on May 28, 2011 at 8:00 am. The guest of honour was Mr. Bhagwan Singh Mentors (who taught yoga during camp) and Mr. Mohit Gupta (PTCC member). |

| Summer Camp May- 2010 |

The main focus of the camp was to inculcate CCE ideology implemented by Central Board of Secondary Education. The students were given exposure to different activities like Taekwondo, Chau – a traditional oddissi dance form, Tie and Dye, Sculpture, Hindi and English Dramatics, Music, Basketball, Football, Tennis, Computer Club and many more. Besides this, the school arranged a planetarium show to give the actual feeling of mysterious universe telling about the positions of different stars and various concepts with the help of pictorial presentations |

| Adventure Camp |

A two day adventure was organized by DPS Aligarh at DPS Civil Lines for classes 1-6. There were around three hundred students who participated in this camp. The various activities were Yoga, rappling and flying fox etc. The children were taught to make a tent on their own. In the evening in Camp fire the children enjoyed a lot with music and games. SP city Shri Maan singh Chauhan graced this occasion. He with children actively participated in Rappeling along with the children. He added in his speech that this adventure camp is not only for entertainment but overall development of the child. It also teaches us of how to tackle an unavoidable circumstances and come out of it in flying colours with courage. He also commanded the principal for taking this initiative along with her team of teachers to make this event a great success. He also thanked each and every member of the institution for organizing this great event. |
