| An Excursion from Bangaluru to Ooty was arranged from June 1, 2011 to June 9, 2011 for senior students of DPS Aligarh. We all gathered on June 1, 2011 at 7:00 a.m. at DPS Junior Wing, Agra Road with parents of some students. We boarded the train and after three days journey, we reached at Bangaluru and then proceeded for Ooty.
We stayed at Sterling Hotel on the top of hill, where whole Ooty could be viewed. Tea factory was visited in the evening alongwith the Botanical garden, where thousand types of flowers were seen. Next day, we went for boating and proceed for Mysore.
At Mysore, we visited Vrindavan Garden which is seen in the movies. We also visited the Tipu Sultan’s palace. In Bangaluru we stayed in Hotel Nandini. Afternoon was spent by visiting science museum, it was huge six storey building and near about each and every aspect of science was displayed there. At 7.30 p.m., we boarded Karnataka Express and reached D.P.S on 9th June, 2011.
We, especially the students enjoyed the journey and beautiful scenery of nature and hills. This was a memorable tour for all the students. |
